We all know Paramore. They love their fans so much. Well last night, after their opening show we got to hang out with the opening band, Kitten outside of their tour van. The head of the band gave out a tour badge to a fan for memory sake. It was an official 2013 Paramore badge. Lead singer, Chloe, was a little worried about it and the fan even offered to give it back, but the “manager” of Kitten insisted it was “fine” and that it could be replaced.
About an hour after that, we all met Taylor York and he was accompanied by this guy who had us line up. Mind you it was a crowd of like 15 people…anyway, it was like 15 minutes and Taylor left.
After a while, Jeremy was spotted outside of the tour bus and we all hoped he would come hang out and sign stuff too, but he didn’t. He heard us chanting but continued to ignore us.
The venue crew got a bit angry with our chanting and a blonde headed woman threatened to call the cops on us if we said anymore. We didn’t listen, but no cops were called. No laws were being broken. She yelled “SHUT THE FUCK UP. GO HOME. GET A LIFE. THE BAND LEFT 2 HOURS AGO.” Uhhhhh, we had just met Taylor? They even went as far as saying Hayley boarded a plane right after the show….paramore fans know too well.
Anyway, after the lady left, the guy who accompanied Taylor (the guy in the picture) came up to us and said “Go home. You’re making us look bad. You’re embarrassing the band.” And that broke my heart. Paramore is all about their fans, am I right? But Jeremy acted like he was too cool to sign a couple of autographs. And Hayley just hid out in the bus. Only Taylor was cool enough to hang.
After the guy said that, he noticed a fan was wearing a official Paramore tour badge and he instantly become furious. Shouting “where did you get that from” and the fan replied with “kitten gave it to us” and without even asking for it back, he yanked the lanyard forward until the laminated badge broke off the hook, technically physically harassing the fan. It was too aggressive and uncalled for. He literally yanked so hard that she was pulled toward the gate. There are many witnesses.
He then said “go home. You guys have fucked up my night”. He was later seen getting into the bus to talk to Hayley and the buses shades were closed.
Hayley, right after the show tweeted they had to leave town already, but please explain to me, coming from someone who didn’t get home till 4 in the morning, why Paramore’s bus - with Paramore in it, didn’t leave till 3am. We all saw Jeremy get into the bus, even accompanied by the guy who harassed the fan.
By this time, only a group of 6 people remained. We left home disappointed/broke hearted. The worst part was Jeremy was a few feet away when this all happened and he blew it off.
After spreading the word, I’ve found out that this isn’t the first time this pictured guy has done something extreme to a fan. He’s reportedly pushed and shoved fans, making them cry.
We’re not animals. We know paramore loves us and we just want to hangout for a bit.
After hard work, I got in contact with Hayley - and even she told me some lies, “we left right after the show”…BUT WE MET TAYLOR AND SAW HER AND JEREMY IN THE BUS AND THE BUS DIDNT LEAVE TILL 3AM, refusing to believe it was tour crew/family that treated a fan that way. After some more comments, she replied “k….I will find out”.
Please spread the word. This guy doesn’t deserve to be apart of Paramores crew. We all know Paramore and this isn’t like them. Apparently, fans have met them multiple times, but since this guy has worked for them the last 3 or 2 years, Paramore isn’t really allowed to do any “unofficial” meetings.
Fans don’t deserve to be treated like this. Please spread the word.
If all this is true, then its quite disappointing.
